Code named RMS9 (RCL Malaysia Singapore 9), the maiden voyage will commence on the 3rd October with Nawata Bhum voyage 094W in a Singapore (Tuesday) – Belawan (Thursday) – Penang (Friday) – West Port (Sunday) – Singapore.

Mr Charlie Chu, EVP Business “This second sailing is a response from RCL to our main line customers (MLO) in providing a second sailing ex Penang preferably on an end week position for their mother vessel connections in both Port Klang and Singapore”.

Mr Chu added “The MLOs in Penang have also emphasized the importance of a weekend cut in Penang to serve their own customers as well. Our vessel will arrive Penang on a Friday, which is also their preferred window and a key advantage of this new service. In addition, RCL will also be able to serve its own COC customers as well for onward connections via its hub ports today”.
