In case your bookings for sailings after cut-over are accidentally being placed with UASC instead of Hapag-Lloyd, there are two different scenarios which apply:
- If you place your booking requests via UASC Webpage or via INTTRA Web or I-Desktop, UASC will inform you that your booking request was forwarded to Hapag-Lloyd and be taken care of accordingly. Hapag-Lloyd will process such requests and send you a Booking Confirmation in a timely manner. There is no need to resend your booking request to Hapag-Lloyd.
- Bookings submitted to UASC via portals such as INTTRA I-LINK, GT Nexus, Cargo Smart and others as well as direct (bilateral) EDI bookings cannot be forwarded to Hapag-Lloyd for reasons of data integrity*. Such booking requests will have to be declined by UASC and we would like to ask you to re-submit them to Hapag-Lloyd.
Colleagues from Hapag-Lloyd or UASC will gladly assist you in this journey and help you to switch your bookings successfully from UASC to Hapag-Lloyd.
In case you have any questions on above, or you may need additional assistance, please do not hesitate to contact your local UASC or Hapag-Lloyd representative.
* Booking confirmations from a different carrier (Hapag-Lloyd) than the originally requested one (UASC) are not processed by your system and the booking will still be in pending status.
